How to apply :
Candidates may apply for admission process by filling the Application Form enclosed with this prospectus* or online at - www.iscom.co.in, within the stipulated time.

On receipt of the filled up application form, the candidate will be intimated the time and venue for the written exam. Candidates with GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or equivalent scores (50% and above marks) will not be required to appear for our written test. Others will essentially have to clear our test. All candidates irrespective of the above will have to appear for GD & PI.

Candidates who are selected will be informed within two weeks of completion of the selection process. They will have to pay the fees as per the schedule given by the institute.

Industry sponsored candidates may be considered for admission when sponsored by Industry / Business house with a registered annual turnover of minimum 5 crores. Such candidates will not be eligible for placement by the institute.

* Candidates who have not appeared for any national level entrance exam, may kindly check point no 13 in the Application form and other details in the Test Bulletin, provided along with the prospectus.
 
Eligibility :

•  50% aggregate in graduation from a recognized University.
•  Overall 40 percentile in CAT / 60% marks in MAT/XAT / equivalent exam.
   OR
overall 50 percentile in CAT / 50% marks in MAT/XAT/equivalent and min. 60% aggregate in graduation.

Admission process :

•  Candidates who have CAT/MAT/XAT/equivalent scores below eligibility or no score at all will have to appear in ISCOM’s Aptitude test and scores obtained will be taken as ‘equivalent’ score for eligibility .
•  All eligible students will have to clear ISCOM’s PI.

*   -  Possession of laptop by each student for the complete duration of the programme is compulsory. This is, however, being provided as an Add-on as a number of students are seen to possess laptops prior to joining the Course.

 
 
Note :

1. Fees Payment Schedule :
    a. 1st instalment Rs.25,000/- on provisional selection (To ensure booking of seat)
    b. Balance in two installments. First installment at the beginning of Semester I and second installment     at the beginning of Semester III.

2. FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

3. For each day of delay in payment of fees of 2nd instalment, a fine of Rs.150/- per day will be levied after 15 days of joining; and in case of 3rd instalment.

4. Additionally boarding & lodging charges will be approximately Rs.50,000/- per year which includes breakfast and lunch provided on the campus. (Rs. 10,000/- to be paid on confirmation as advance to make arrangements for accommodation and balance amount to be paid on joining).

5. The security deposit will be refunded less any unpaid dues of the institute at the end of the course.
Financing your STUDIES :

Postgraduate study is an investment in your intellectual development and your career potential. The search for funding at postgraduate level can be a time consuming one, and prospective students should start thinking at a very early stage as to how they intend to finance their studies.

PGPCS course is approved for education loan by Bank of Baroda (all India Branches), assistance is provided by the ISCOM.


ISCOM gives scholarships to deserving students, as per laid down criteria.

 
Academic Evaluation :
To be eligible for the award of the certificate in the Post Graduate Program, a student must fulfill academic cum attendance criteria of the Institute. There will be continuous evaluation through quizzes, assignments, presentations on a weekly basis, mid term exams apart from term end exams.
 
Attendance :
90% attendance is compulsory.
 
Discipline :
Students are expected to maintain a high standard of conduct and discipline in keeping with the rules and regulations laid down by the School and infringement of normal codes of good conduct will make a student liable for disciplinary action.

Serious breaches of discipline like adopting unfair means in an examination, stealing, submission of false statements, addiction, etc could result in rustication or suspension from the school /denial of placement assistance facility.

Students are expected to be well dressed and in uniform provided by the ISCOM for guest lectures, campus interviews and other formal occasions.
